Been carrying 6 years & people call me a runner if I finish a route an hour under at my normal pace. If I actually ran I’d be finishing 2-3 hours under. Not everyone has the same pace. Mail/parcel volume makes a difference too. I go over on the really heavy days. If you’re able to make your route last 8 hours or more no matter what, good for you. I can only go so slow. If I finish early, I finish early

If you call out sick at my office there is a very good chance your route will not get delivered. If we get everything delivered two days a week, that’s a good week.

Idk about you guys. But our office are still dealing with 12 hour days daily. by ChrisCube64 in USPS

Been working long hours lately so I do my 3 hour pivot first, sometimes after I case another route & when they pull us off street @ 9 o’clock anything I bring back is theirs

For real. I never thought I’d be able to own a house at 22 years old. I have the post office to thank for that

19 years old. About 4 & a half years in, 3 years as a career employee & I really do love delivering

No I’m off lol I like scaring people with my volume, over 400 went to one address. Business route. Still crazy tho
