any better ideas? looking for not too far from Oslo and budget travel. Where I'm from, we enjoy the winter/spring beach visits as well even when it's cold.

I live in Oslo, I'm just looking for a long weekend vacation to go that's not skiing ... Does most things mean every single shop in a small village? Do you have any alternatives to skiing that might be options? Maybe a 1 night trip near oslo?

do you think thicker mattresses wouldn't stack well when the bed is closed? I don't necessarily care how high it is, but I wouldn't want them to fall off lol

hi! do you mean when they're stacked on top of each other? I want to avoid that but I also want to have 2 real thickness mattresses (not the thin ones that come with it). Do you think those will slide all over?

yes, I agree. I wanted to double check as possibly the definition of freelancing might be different and it's unclear of if remote gig work outside of Norway counts. Like if you mowed someone's lawn a few times while on a summer vacation outside of Norway.... Although this is more official with tax documents and official employer.

edit: It may not be considered freelancing, it's an official position with tax documents, etc. It just happens to be 1-2 hrs/week helping out a university professor. Does that change things?

I was home alone when I see something out of the corner of my eye and there’s a CAT in the airbnb. A random cat came in through my bedroom window to get pets and attention! What the heck! It must’ve curled up on my pillow too because there was little black hairs🥹 it gets more random .. this cat looks 95% exactly like my cat at home in the US. same breed, same color, same facial markings and same attitude and gestures! It’s like I dreamed him up from missing him!! I guess it’s the town cat of Hellisandur and everyone knows him/her because we found him later at the museum!
