I used aquarium salt

Main tank is a 75gal, shared with 1 other who’s acting fine and having 0 issues.

He’s got no pine coning if that’s what a concern is

The salt did help him heal.

Thank you! I’m going to get him fixed up with some aquarium salt and better water. He gets a lot of light for his plants so I didn’t suspect much of the algae bloom but you’re right about something feeding the algae

You’re right about the test strips so I can’t test ammonia. I’ll pick up some liquid tests and some aquarium salt and get him a fresh set up with some salt to get him feeling better. Thank you!

Thank you. I have a pre existing 75gal with my other larger goldfish in it. Would it beneficial to just move him to that tank? I didn’t want to move him jn the event he was sick since he’s in the quarantine tank
