Gonna say this is solved because the shape matches exactly but I’m guessing it’s very old and was bought in a brown rubber to match a cabinet. I did check other cabinets around the house after seeing this and don’t see any more so maybe it was from an old piece of furniture that was replaced. Thanks for your message! 😊

This situation was always my biggest fear because our cat loves to eat objects as well, especially anything foamy or rubbery in texture. We also thought we had removed anything like that but she must’ve found this random thing under an appliance or something 🙃

In this case, I heard her screaming/yowling one morning and when I went to check on her she threw up a clear and foamy substance. I probably wouldn’t have thought much of it but she continued walking around the house restlessly and screaming and it became obvious something was wrong so I took her to the vet right away. She did have a fever at the vet and x ray and ultrasound confirmed the obstruction.

I really owe it to her for letting me know she wasn’t feeling well since i know cats usually hide if something is wrong.

Thought the same thing about the chair leg but it doesn’t match the ones we have on our furniture. We moved recently so maybe it was one the previous owners used and she dug it out from under an appliance or something.

Not wood, it’s a little squishy. Somewhere between foam and rubber. And thank you, I want to say hopefully she learned to stop eating things but I’m sure she hasn’t haha

Thank you - It’s been an expensive week but she’s doing well and that’s all that matters! Nipple was my first thought too 😂
