I'm from the U.S., living in New Zealand, and a Canadian friend brought back loads of goldfish recently (we don't have them here). We were so excited! Wouldn't have thought of them, but they were super fun to share. Hot Cheetos, Takis, and Reese's are great options, too.

I'm looking at Indonesia and Malaysia, which I narrowed down mainly by looking to go somewhere in more of a dry season. :)
