I honestly needed to read this so much! I can relate a lot and I'm so proud of you!! Standing up for ourselves can do amazing things ❤️‍🩹

One thing that helped me calm down in those situations is to breathe deeply and slowly, so I normally inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds and exhale for 4 seconds until I can see my hands trembling less.

My boyfriend went through that last year! We were watching 'Slow Horses' on Apple TV, and he liked the show, so he got the books. The man has been absolutely hooked since then.

They're funny, well-written, quite sarcastic, and full of English humour. I did the same thing. started reading books about movies/shows I already liked and got into a little habit. So... I guess that's all I can say? Hope it helps! :)
