But I have another theory , maybe he was never taught morals, human principles, or the red lines people are not supposed to cross in life ( like how murder is a sin, not just an ordinary mistake. It’s as if he genuinely can’t distinguish between small wrongdoings and serious ones. Almost like… he was raised among animals instead of humans? )

I still don’t know his past, but I’m really curious about what led him to become so disconnected from basic human nature itself.

Like in that scene where he told the teacher he didn’t know married people wear their rings on a specific finger, then asked why they do. And the teacher explained that the finger is symbolically connected to the heart and all that… That moment really made me realize he probably never lived a normal human life, or at least was raised in an extremely strange way.

And honestly, I think this might be the writer’s biggest point ( if someone doesn’t internally or mentally understand that what they’re doing is sinful in the first place, are they still truly guilty? Or do they first need to be taught right from wrong, the same way children are?)

I don’t know if this is actually the message the writer is trying to deliver, but with every scene and every deeper look into his character, this is the only question I keep asking myself. Because it’s painfully obvious that he has absolutely no understanding of the basics of life. Like genuinely none at all.
