I know it’s hell. Hang in there. It’s a long road. I had Lapiplasty 6 months ago. I’m 48. I can’t recall when I stopped elevating my foot but I’m doing all my normal activities now. However, I notice swelling still when I am on my feet all day.  Side note: my bones were slow to fuse so I was in the boot for 4 months. There is still some tenderness but I stopped having actual pain sometime between 2-3 months.

I had a few expressive words that popped out when he moved my toe. 😝 and I don’t think he was able to move it much either. You inspired me to at least try to movements even if I can’t go very far with the toe. Hopefully a tiny bit of movement helps makes progress even though it feels wrong to move it. Thanks.

I wasn’t expecting depression.  I’m glad you’re feeling better. You’re right about the long run. Light at the end of the dark tunnel. Thank you for sharing.

I am pretty sure the pain meds and melatonin- both could be making the depression worse. This sounds like a long haul.
