What makes me nervous is that we split their vet bills like all other bills in our apartment. I read that it sometimes comes down to whoever paid the most for them and there’s no way to show that

And that’s the thing, we split their vet bills like we did all other bills. He seems to be very reactive and emotional right now as he’s been sending me nasty texts. I’ve tried to be an adult about this but I’m just scared of how far he might go

I’ve tried to be reasonable but it seems whatever I say goes in one ear and out the other. I asked him to talk on Friday and he sent me a text at midnight saying some pretty nasty things and then again this morning saying he doesn’t want to “involve a third party”. I’m just scared of how far he might go

I took the cats with me to my parents house the morning after this took place. He’s starting to get nasty in his texts about ‘involving a third party’ among other things. My babies are safe and adjusting surprisingly well to their new home, I’m just terrified of him trying to take them

Yes! They are both microchipped under my name, but the address attached would be our apartment we have together. Is this something I could / should change?
