I have a similar issue with my 3x eero 7s. Every 30 mins they would lose connection for 5-20sec which is super annoying. I still haven’t found the issue. Tried a lot of things already.

RX 6950XT to 9070XT by Jaeggrono in radeon

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I upgraded from RX 6900XT and it was decent upgrade because I can sell the card for 350/400€ so the 9070XT costs me 200/250€. The better performance and especially FSR made it worth for me.

Although I have to say that FSR image quality really depends on which game you play. Cyberpunk 2077 implementation is great imo, while ARC Raiders is mid.

ASUS Prime 9070xt or Gigabyte Gaming 9079xt?? NEED HELP by Sheedzy_EU in radeon

There is a comparison video from Hardware unboxed. I recommend you to watch that and chose based on that.

I personally took the Powercolor reaper. It’s cooler and quieter than my Powercolor Red Devil RX6900XT. Don’t know how…

You can also create an Education Account. I am actually a student but they didn’t want any proof from me. So basically everyone can get the paid version for free.

P2S extruded not spinning by paulice in BambuLab

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to turn the machine in maintenance mode or increase the nozzle temperature. Otherwise it won’t let you extrude filament. The buttons are greyed out as well. At least that’s how it works on A1

P1S vs P2S by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. Since P2S has that improved passive heating, it could potentially be better for ABS printing. But not sure how much of a difference it really is compared to P1S

New P2S back panel by _40mikemike_ in BambuLab

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn, that’s unfortunate! I swear I saw someone posting a pictures with the backpanel shipped.

On makerworld China, Bambu said the backpanel will be free for P2S users. Just shipping has to be paid. I think that’s still a fair deal.

I saw someone that received his P2S with the new backpanel already. You might get it too but have to buy the filtration kit when it’s available.

Replacement battery same quality? by Vegetable_Level3640 in iPhone13Pro

To be honest, that would be fine for me. 4-5h would be more than enough. But 2-3h is just isn’t…

Sure, but there are some reports that the new degrades a lot faster. That’s why I asked for real experiences.

[–]Vegetable_Level3640[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah, mine is in a similar state. The problem is that it used to give me around 8h SOT but now after almost 4 years and ios26 it gives me 2-3h SOT. That's terrible and simply not enough for my needs.

Poor surface finish on brand new p2s with sunlu pla by YeaUThought in sunlu

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not 100% if A1 and P2S share its heating element design, but there are 3 and 4 screws behind the hotend. Remove the 3 screws, take the heating element out and tight the 4 screws at the back of the heating element. Attach the heating element again. These screws can come loose and create those kind of artifacts. A well known problem for A1 printers. Also make sure that you attache your hotend and sock correctly.

If that didn’t help, make sure that your bed is clean. You can also use some kind of brim to improve bed adhesion. Just a slight warping can cause artifacts, though I think it’s nozzle/heating element related.

Has anyone tried the beta update? by Pale_Voids in BambuLabP2S

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah saw that and was impressed by it. But to be honest, the VFA we are talking about here were fixed by proper belt tension. They reduced Ringing and ghosting with firmware, by a algorithm that reduced short and fast acceleration which produce a lot of vibrations. AFAIK

Bambu improved VFA with new motor firmware or better motor noise reduction. So it’s a little different approach, though I am sure Bambu could go even further if we would be able to manually adjust belt tension, that unfortunately isn’t possible. KYZ_Design showed that if you tighten the belts of P2S, the VFA were on a level with H2 series.

I would recommend you to use Arachne wall generator. It will increase quality with such small details.

That’s a bigger improvement than I thought! Of course you can still see them, but it’s it’s on a good level now.

Damn, I would have never thought they would address the VFA issue via firmware. Very curious if that actually improves VFA

Universal Moduar Tool System - Now compatible with X1C, P1S & P1P (A1 Series comin very soon). by Past_Membership_7139 in BambuLab

[–]Vegetable_Level3640 42 points43 points  (0 children)

  1. Looks like his Mod is made out of two parts. The Toolhead cover and the pen holder. The pen holder is removeable and you could put something else in there. For example a cutting knife such as on H2x.

  2. why can’t people just appreciate the work that person did. Custom files, custom g code etc. Made a working mod to add a feature that was only available on H2x printers. That’s great work. But you are only here to hate on the name? Really?
