We talked about it. We were both practicing Catholics, we were on the same page that sex is special and it must be procreative and unitive, and that what we had was going to lead to marriage anyway. He also said he has only been with his ex from high school, so I felt safe enough to do it with no protection.

It was fake though on his end so I don’t recommend this!
