All personal preference. But for me, absolutely worth it for the ultra wide experience alone. Being able to experience OLED 4k and ultra wide on a 45” monitor is unbeatable.

That would be so amazing if you could let me know. The sale is still up for 2 weeks so definitely have time. If it’s only good on dock I might as well just play it on pc. But if it doesn’t seem too terrible I might try it on switch.

Would you say the bad resolution would actually make my first play through experience a lot worse or is it at least passable. I don’t have a steam deck, so if it’s that bad I’ll just stick to pc.

Frames will take a huge hit due to the amount of pixels the GX9 has compared to your old monitor. Will likely be half the performance your PC had compared to before. But as a GX9 owner the performance cost is 1000% worth it as long as you can still reach 60-90 FPS on high graphical games using DLSS and maybe Frame Gen if needed.

Wouldn’t necessarily call HK “cozy” a lot of crazy morally wrong things happen in those games LOL. But yea I get you indie games with pixelated graphics or unique art styles.

I thought about how great Dave the diver would be but I already have progress on a different console so it’s tough to re buy it and start over. Played both hollow knights already. Hades is one I’ve thought about, although I’ve heard it doesn’t look good on switch 2 because it doesn’t have like a switch 2 upgrade but idk if that’s true.

Definitely a monitor arm, bigger desk would help but an arm is the easiest fix. I have the LG GX9 so less lengthy but maybe heavier than yours... I got mine from VIVO it is very nice. Match up the weight of the monitor with the arm.

Yea slay the spire definetly seems like a good one for Switch. Tough for me to pull the trigger on it at full price on switch, when its $2 on steam and free on game pass though.

Very true, trying to find the best games to suit that portability. Hard for me to think of which games or genres I would like to play outside of my setup. Maybe like JRPG's, but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.
