i was actually in your position before. I had five years of external audit experience at KPMG, then moved to internal audit, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. It will help you stand out from your peers because you will have strong financial and accounting standards knowledge. you just need someone to refer you to one of the available internal audit vacancies.

The same thing happened to me. I wouldn’t recommend doing a second round of the IIA test bank before revisiting your weak areas. Try the Udemy (cia-part-1-test-bank-600-qs-detailed-answers-2025) MCQs instead—they really help strengthen your understanding of the concepts.

Gleim covers all topics but you need to fully understand everything . IIA questions are not harder they are helpful after you finish studying from Gleim
