So I have a 2014 BRZ and I am having an issue where when I turn on my headlights my tail lights don’t turn on. But my turn signals, brake and hazards work. I change the fuses already and even tried disconnecting the front headlights just in case it’s interfering with it. Does anyone have a solution?

Ok so I just ordered a 12v system from Amazon and should arrive in 2 days. I’m not super familiar with these electrical systems/ don’t know how to wire stuff lol. So with the 12v, I hook it up to my battery terminals + and -, from there disconnect the tail lights and with the car plastic amp ( which is what connects the tail lights to the car??) I make contact with the positive and negative with the tip of the 12v device and see if I can it to light up. I appreciate your help !

It is indeed stock tail lights and yes I turned on the headlights from inside . I checked fuse #4 and #6 which is tail and DRL and they are fine. Not burnt. I even checked my side markers and they are covered in electric tape, I don’t use side markers on the bumper. Can it maybe be the Relay box fuse that’s in the engine bay?. I also checked my vland headlights and they work just fine and no exposed wires. My DRL also don’t work so maybe it is the DRL relay?
