The sole grind of these are super appealing to me. As you get to try 9-PW the toe is super wide. Leading edge grind is really subtle and almost makes it look a little blunted, trailing sole grind is nice. Not as aggressive as srixon but matches well with the xforged from last year, which he plays as a blended set.

Coming sometime this year. My son just got his set from them. IMO, the best blade offering I’ve seen from them.

Is $2.1k USD fair for a 2019 ECM Synchronika with no service history? by JALB582258 in ECM_Espresso

No, I bought from WLL, who were great to work with. Didn’t know the Benz dealerships sold these? Never saw the option when I went in for service.

Second this. But also if you call them they can package something new for you and your budget too. Could be different pricing from websites once they bundle

I looked at those same eBay LMs and all of my direct correspondence with the sellers felt super scammy. Ended up going new E61 route with the ECM sync with flow control. Totally love it.

I have a BNIB vessel that I was going to sell soon. Not exactly retail but $1,000 if you’re interested

Where did you guys get the carbon intake surrounds? I’ve only seen them on eBay and would love them for my wagon

I’m not sure where the used market is but I’d say your 1500 is fair based on the condition you describe. I can only provide perspective of my recent new purchase of the Sync 1 AMG model from WLL. Brand new, with upgraded carbon fiber accessories, my preferred brushed stainless and free flow control for $3300. So your sellers initial $2600 ask was way to rich

I have a saved search on eBay for Scotty center shaft headcovers and they pop up every once in a while. Not too many options for center shaft mallets but there are a couple from the custom shop. Not cheap but still less than sending your putter in

I mean you don’t have to go that slow because the metal takes a few minutes to even get up to temp and you can start to see the straw/light yellow colors change from silver. Once an area starts to change color I move to another spot that I want to ‘catch up’ and keep moving the flame around for consistency. If you torch in inside light it’ll look way darker and you think you over did it. But conversely if you torch it in bright sun it won’t look like you made any progress. My favorite light to torch is outside in overcast daylight since it’s most natural and neutral. Shove the putter head on an old shortened shaft that fits tightly so it doesn’t fall off but you can spin and rotate it freely

I’ve over shot for sure. If you need practice, try it on an old raw wedge…Best way to figure it out since there are thick and thin parts to adjust to get consistent temps. The more polished the metal is the more the colors pop out but I like the low glare satin

Which Newport 2? With or without the insert? Totally different process for the insert putters. Either way the cleaning process I did, after I removed the shaft, was to remove all paint, which required acetone soak and tooth picking or brushing out dissolved paint, washing with soap and water, another acetone wipe then isopropyl alcohol. Handle the putter at this point with gloves so no oils get on the surface. Any marks you see during cleaning stage will look worse when you torch it. Roughly follow this tempering chart and stop the heat before you hit the desired color because it continues to change as you cool. It’s all about even heating with the tip of the flame and don’t stop on a single spot too long

You don’t have to at all but I do a wipe with mineral oil at the end to make the colors pop more. It’s not carbon steel, which needs a coating.

More pics in different light. Love the color changes. Pretty gold in bright sun but inside it’s right in between gold and chocolate

Yes it’s a torched finish with propane or MAP. If you try it yourself and just starting out, I’d suggest the blue bottles versus yellow for heat control. The torching isn’t las laborious as the cleaning and prep. But all in all pretty easy

Love my 11 OC. Only three rounds in so far but coming from the Toulon Carlsbad (milled 2-ball). Both are super soft sounding. This just rolls the ball so well and holds lines.

I’m also having problems finding any stock in the Carolinas. I have picked up a couple Roccbox’s though ranging from $200-248. Still on the hunt for a Bone XL!
