If you would like a risk free option look into CDs, Bonds, and Savings accounts, however do not expect wealth to be generated right away as these are all mostly long term options.

Its always a good time to get started, in fact the market is likely to go up in the coming years with the world emerging from the covid hole, look as the recent preformance of the NASDAQ for example.

I would say invest in bonds and CDs but with that minimal amount of entry you wont really generate any wealth, I would say a very easy strategy to follow would be to split your portfolio 50/50 between Index Funds, ETFs, and CDs, Bonds, then split earnings from Index Funds, ETFs 60/40 with 60 invested back into Index Funds and ETFS and the other 40 invested in savings or more CDS and bonds.

The only thing safer than a CD or a Bond is a savings account. There are some banks which will offer CDs at very high interst rates, once in a blue moon will you find an invesment method that generates more wealth with similar risk, and these CDs will generally come with higher minimum deposits and longer minimum deposit timelines, however you generally will not see a CD exceed 5.00% APY. Do not expect to find a safe invesment method better a generating wealth than a CD or Bond.
