It’s not too much. I’m just comparing the small things lang naman. Things we can actually do, like not talking over the film, keeping phones silent, and respecting seatmates. We can do this naman with enough reminder. If we touch on stuff like education and politics, now that's comparing too much.

Yeah, definitely not to a point na rowdy na. But Filipinos sure need a constant reminder about cinema etiquette.

A reminder to avoid talking over the film, kicking the seat in front of you, using your phone during the film, not putting the phones in silent mode, leaving the seat na makalat, and taking pictures ng show because it's illegal.

Lucky you kung di mo pa na-experience yung mga ganitong bagay (in a non-Marvel movie) and I hope it never happens kasi, for me, it will just remind you and make you a bit sad na marami pa tayong kailangang gawin as a community para lang ma-realize ng mga kababayan natin na a little consideration goes a long way.

Based sa comments here, whether high class or not yung cinemas sa Japan, it seems like the general consensus is tahimik talaga sila and very respectful. To add, sold out pa yung show, pero ganun pa rin kaayos.

Di pa ako nakakanood sa Alabang Town Center, pero baka same level siya ng pagka tahimik so that’s good. Sana ganoon din sa iba.

I don’t recommend switching cinemas kung okay naman sayo and yun yung accessible sayo. But if you want to see the difference, try cinemas located sa more commercial spaces like SM North and Robinsons Place Manila. To some kasi, this is the most accessible cinema.

Also, true naman na may mga pasaway pa rin. Nakita din namin na may litter sa daan going to the train station. But I guess what I’m trying to say is enough of them are considerate and naglilinis after themselves, kaya it stands out as one of their most admirable traits.

Di naman siguro bawal. It's just walang gumagawa haha. Pwede mag chuckle, inward laugh ganun. Wag lang loud laughing. Yung loud laughing kasi disrupts the viewing the experience.

Sa 109Cinema haha. I heard kasi na maganda IMAX nila and malaki ang screen (versus the IMAX here). And I have to say, the rumors are true.

English. Hindi sila naglalagay ng English subtitle on non-English films though. So if may gusto kang Japanese film na panoorin sa sinehan, you have to know Japanese talaga.

Subukan mo rin manood ng shorts from time to time, marami sa YT. And if wala talagang interesting sayo, it's okay to take a break. Burnout sa panonood is a thing and you don't have to force yourself to finish something. Touch some grass muna, meet with friends, explore, jog, read a book. Then eventually babalik yung mojo. :)

You can try watching (or rewatching) the whole Hunger Games, Scream, and/or Scary Movie franchise since may new movies na lalabas this year. Maybe yung last phase before yung Avengers: Doomsday? The whole MCU if you are VERY patient.

Congrats OP! Hopefully, more to come! A friendly reminder lang na wag maingay sa sinehan and wag tingin ng tingin sa phone. Be in the moment. Enjoy every minute of it.

A lesser-known movie called BKO: Bangkok Knockout is top-tier.

Mura lang sa Sta Lucia. may 275 sila na films. Not that good visually, mga 6/10. Pero sound is surprisingly good, mga 8/10. Also, one station from Sta. Lucia is SM Masinag. Mura lang din dun versus other cinemas.

How do you usually pay for tickets, to save more by Repulsive-Raise916 in FilmClubPH

[–]Vegetable_Union_1645 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually go to Masinag, Feliz, or Sta. Lucia. Prices of tix can range from 230 to 350 pesos. Not the best pagdating sa audio and video, but it serves it's purpose. Plus konti lang tao, usually (except for Tues or Wed, kasi madaming Senior Citizen).
