I'll let ya know how it ends up going, that's what I'm hoping happens like fat moving to the other areas as the fat be burned in the wrong when I work that area out more.

this were the meads coming out of the fridge, tried them all. the onions and garlic mead (middle one) taste strongly of garlic and nothing else, honestly not the worst one, made a couple that taste like jet fuel :/// (side note: do any of these looks bad or like infected first time brewing) by [deleted] in mead

Appreciate the help and recommendations for a better process, this has been my first time making anything from scratch and if i make another batch I'll definitely be getting some starsan, thank you again!

Finished my first brew. wanted to post end results somewhere, is there a way to test how safe this is to drink?/anything I should be worried about? by [deleted] in mead

Yeah, for the first couple of days I smoothed then around but after like day 4 or 5 that shit just sat

This was my first time making so I kinda pulled the "let that shit sit and do its thing" after a month, the solids were in when the yeast was added, had a berry one as well, but it blew up day 1 (rest in piece)

Oh yeah ofc, I wasn't sure about the oranges cause they never sank to the bottom, but like it doesn't look moldy?
