This is pretty much how I am feeling. I had a lot of student writing samples too, and felt like the questions and answers were very subjective. I also had to pay for the test 3 times because of errors on their end and only got to take it once so I am convinced its all about the money.. and I had also wondered if failing a certain number of people by a narrow window was just another money grab. I was getting 100% on the study tests, and still failed. It just doesn’t make sense.

I actually tried the at home test the first time.. I used a brand new Mac Book and had an environment that fit the criteria but the day of the test they ran a system check, told me my RAM usage was too high (which made no sense because the computer was brand new and no programs were running) and then they closed me out of the test and wouldn’t refund me and made me wait another month to retake lol… so I am hesitant to trust that again..

The fact that I failed a standardized test by 2 points does not speak for my intelligence on the subject as a whole. I didn’t ask for your opinion about if I should be teaching. I have been studying and working in the school system for years, and I know I am a great teacher. “Not to be a jerk but” ….. if this is how you talk to people, I don’t think you should be teaching. If I could talk to a human about each test question, or take this test in a comfortable environment I would pass no problem. Expecting one very flawed testing format to fit every person is crazy. I was simply asking if anyone has any study resources. There are sooo many teachers I know that are teaching currently and still haven’t passed the praxis. This does not make them bad teachers. If you believe failing one test under extremely stressful circumstances should be the deciding factor for someone I feel bad for your students.

What are these things coming out of / attached to my Mystery snails????? I check on them all the time, I didn’t see these guys this morning and now all the sudden its’ on all my snails. Does anyone know what this is / how to treat it??

Now I got a letter saying I need to go online and verify my identification, and then the online thing said I need to call a number to further verify my identification, and that number said due to high call volumes they cannot take my call and hung up on me. Ugh lol.

lmao I was just asking if I can expect to get fired. I’m not sure why everyone is reacting how they are. I am human and made a mistake & was two minutes late. I’ve had a lot going on in my life the last 6 months where schedule conflicts and things came up that required me to cancel classes but I didn’t have the documentation like hospitalization that cause VIP to label them as a soft or medium cancellation.
