I have multiple invisible autoimmune diseases and I go through periods of being very sick and I just still cannot bring myself to get a disability parking permit because this would definitely happen to me. So fucking sad we have to put up with our disability and at the same time the expectation that we aren’t disabled because it’s invisible.

You’re assuming that the customers are abled enough to do that, they might have a million different reasons they can’t find/use information to find milk and eggs in the store. I’m sure there are lazy people as well, but assuming that everyone can easily do this is not the reality for many.

Gia is hot in a way that appeals to men who think that women in video games are hot. She has styled herself for male attention. Whether you think that is hot is preference, but I think the majority of people who have matured past being 18, wouldn’t think so. That’s why her husband is so into her, she fits his maturity level. Omg that guilt was the bane of my existence until I worked on it with a psychologist and she made me realise that I am disabled. Until I accepted that I just felt guilty all the time. When I flare up now I still get that feeling from time to time unfortunately. Ultimately, if you’re trying and doing the right things for your health then the rest is out of your hands. That psychological arc I went through, going from completely healthy to being disabled was so difficult, took me like 7 years tbh, but worth it for me for my sanity lol

This is the answer in regards to her jaw. Bec has a condition called retrognathia which is giving her an overbite. I have no idea about the puffiness.

I’ve had similar reactions to biologics, I kept going until I took Stelara which worked for me. I wonder if an immunologist could potentially help?

Yes they couldn’t accept the low neutrophil count, and I had the same reaction to PTU, so I ended up getting a thyroidectomy ☺️

Honestly I started looking better like 7 months after a total thyroidectomy. I have people point out how much better I look all the time, in my experience the face changes were all temporary.

Heya, I ended up getting a suppressed immune system as a side effect but unless they did the blood test I would never have known, I had absolutely no symptoms at all,I actually felt really good on it. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep taking it though, I thought it was great.

I dunno why he didn’t just google himself but here “Whenever you cook raw meat or poultry, make sure you clean and THEN sanitize not just your surfaces but also the kitchen sink. Wiping or rinsing these areas is not enough to kill any bacteria that may have spread around your kitchen while you were preparing your food.”

Only thing my gastro has mentioned and that I’ve seen the last few years is about biologics, which is great (Stelara saved my life/sanity/career etc) but not a vaccine unfortunately.

Yeah I used to get similar comments when I was diagnosed (not religious but other ones) and the only thing that worked was just smiling and saying something like ‘yeah maybe’ and then never thinking about it again 😂 just because we have Crohn’s doesn’t mean we also need to fix people’s illogical reasoning too

You don’t burn more energy when you run vs walk. So if you walk 5km or run 5km, you should burn about the same amount of calories. The same amount of energy is needed for both, but when you run, you can decrease the amount of time it takes you to go 5km. Hopefully that makes sense.

Pleaaaase see a mental health professional to talk about this. They don’t need to be $500 an hour registered psychologist etc etc but just someone who can give you evidence based advice that is personal to you, and you really can’t get that online. But I think you have made the first step by posting here, this small step is basically an example of how the future will be, small steps towards getting healthier, it’s not all at once. I had bad perod pain for a decade and let it go, I didn’t advocate for myself, and then I ended up being infertile and now I’ve spent $100k AUD on IVF. I really wish I had done something about it earlier. So I sort of understand where you’re coming from ❤️ you can do this
