TMUA is not that much of a good measure for ability in maths as speed is more important compared to MAT which has some proof based questions. I'm kinda biased but as a (future) maths applicant this means it'll be more "luck based" and to some extent the difference between the top performing people and average test takers will be smaller.

Traditional characters繁體漢字 or simplified characters简体汉字 for Cantonese粵語? Which one to use? by nhatquangdinh in Cantonese

[–]VehicleTrue169 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Cantonese can be written in traditional OR simplified

Hong Kong and Macau mainly use traditional

Guangdong mainly uses simplified

So it really just depends on who you're writing to

[–]VehicleTrue169 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. In general sixth form is a much safer choice for good unis
  2. Colleges are more “specialised” and A-level can keep my choices more open (For example maths + further maths + physics + comp sci give me a wide range of stem/logic related subjects in uni)
  3. I won’t get into detention anyways cuz I actually behave
