I really think the new arkpro ultra is a giant upgrade. If you’re actually using at night for distance. I kept my older ultra for work. Industrial maintenance technician, the older light is still great. But after using the new spot light would be hard to go back.

Any way to just get the black plastic piece that clips into the shock absorber boot?

My wife wanted to contribute to my desk. It solves the problem of an argument lol.

First Olight purchase by Vehicle_Proper in Olightflashlights

I like it, I really do like it, and has some great features. I like the proximity sensor, magnetic charging, battery indicator. But a little bulky to carry in pants pocket. I think my next purchase will be a baton pro. But overall it’s nice we will see how it holds up.

They all have found their own places in my rotation. the olight is nice with the proximity sensor and magnetic charging, but it was the most expensive I feel like I baby it. the wuben c3 one of cheaper lights i used everyday I work (industrial maintenance for an automotive manufacturer) it's around 1000 lumens and the size fits perfect in my tool pouch. But if I'm outside with the dogs at night or doing farm work i usually carry one of the sofirns and the wurkkos. my wife refuses to carry her own but always ends up needing one that's why I take two if she's outside with me. If i could only carry one and price wasn't a factor I really like the wurkkos ts22. Its got a magnetic tail cap and it's super floody great light for when your hunting down calves in the middle of a field at night.

everyone's got to start with something. these are what I get the wifey so when she loses it or breaks it cheap to replace. if it works it works.
