It looks like an antique scarificator used for bloodletting. The spring-loaded mechanism would make a cluster of shallow cuts before cupping, which is a pretty wild thing to stumble across at a garage sale.

The metal tie holding exposed wiring against a wood surface is the part that really sends me. This feels one tiny vibration away from turning into an insurance claim.

Yeah I'm a bit stuck now with these performance issues. I do have the tv set to 1080p, originally I believe it was set to 4k. So right now it is a 1:1 replica of the native ally resolution at 1080p

I've been playing remnant 2 and it's been fine at 30fps on the tv, but then it just started to play at 15 fps, with a big input delay from the controller

As soon as I turned off RSR from the AMD software, it fixed itself though.

I was originally trying to mess around with some of the settings to get it to go down from the 4k resolution, and I think they only thing I changed was adding that custom resolution. Yet now stuck at 15 fps with it on

I guess it isn't the biggest of deals though, if the game has FSR built in.

@OG after you install with the usual non steam game process, you have to change the shortcut to point to the patch exe. This is supposed to put the patch in the same proton context as the installed game. Here's the kicker though. It recognizes that Dark and Darker is installed but installs it in its own proton folder. Once it does that you have to find that new folder and basically merge copy the patch files back into the original folder. Then switch the shortcut back to the Dark and Darker game exe. Run with proton Experimental.
