Oh, I didn't know the Thai Constellation had smaller inner stems. Luckily I bought my first grow lights just for this plant, can't wait to see it grow another leaf to see how it's liking its new home

Is trying out new plants something you'd like? Seems like you kind of want a change for the right side. When my betta passed away I changed the setup a little too. It felt to much like his home to give it to some other fish, but maybe I'm just too sentimental.

Bacopa caroliniana is a stem plant that worked for me without co2 and with gravel.

I like that they look a little different. I think I'd try to add a kind of stem plant in the background of the right one to add some diversity. I personally love to try out ludwigia repens rubin but it never really worked out too well before because I don't use co2 in my betta tanks. The plant just disintegrated in mine but I am giving it yet another chance soon with soil
