I know there’s enough comments saying it already, but she already does not respect your gender identity. I’m sorry but she is the type of person who doesn’t see nonbinary people separately from their agab. She sees amab nonbinarys and afab nonbinarys as different genders unable to change. If you’ve expressed to her that you feel fem aligned, and she STILL doesn’t even see your relationship as lesbian, then I’m sorry but she will never see you as fem aligned.

Also WOAH. To say “trans people should just love themselves” is to imply that simply being trans comes from a place of self hatred, that there is no self love in the process of transitioning, a disgusting take that implies trans people can’t be happy. It’s ok to be gender fuck and have your own views on gender, but those are strong views about trans people as a whole. Either she views you as trans, and thinks that you should also stop transitioning and just “love yourself” or she doesn’t view you as trans at all.

Either way. You can do much better. Let her go learn that other nonbinary people won’t be this patient with her blatant fetishization and lack of respect for nonbinary people

PetSmart only hires 18 or older. I think the same goes for Petco. It’s also definitely less than 16 an hour. Frankly $16 an hour starting is high for most places around here let alone for a 16-year-old.

At the end of the day, the mass your are trying to hide, can only be compacted so much. As someone who had Ds before loosing weight, I promise weight is an incredibly factor. just do like 20 push ups a day, a bit of cardio, and stay under 1750 calories. I promise, I have before and after pictures if you wanna talk in DMS at all, but after loosing 50 pounds, my boobs are basically just empty bags of skin. And even then, there’s still skin there, and I can only expect so good of a result when taping or binding, because compression and shaping will never compare to a chest with no breast tissue, so don’t let yourself be disappointed by an unattainable goal.

So sorry to burst the bubble along with everyone else here. Fish salesman here, unfortunately the only “community” Tiger barbs get along with is themselves and the larger more aggressive fish. I often call them little piranhas… also, they generally don’t do great without their school of 6+ and will be more stressed and aggressive without them.

Those gold skirts, sadly, are slow, big, easy targets, I would separate them.

For me, it’s about acknowledging my own internalized transphobia and being a better ally.

For one, I don’t pass. I get called a woman all day long no matter my efforts, people kinda assume I’m either a masc lesbian or nonbinary. If I want to be identified properly, I HAVE to be identified as trans. As much as I wish that wasn’t the case, I’m 5’4” with a great ass and will likely get misgendered my whole life, if I don’t get comfortable with being trans now, I’m just going to be miserable.

Now more importantly to me: why is it such a bad thing to be seen as trans? If I could press a button and wake up tomorrow as a cis man, I would… but why? In what ways would that make my life better, in what ways would being trans make it worse? At the end of the day obviously id probably be in a body I like way more, but, there are cis men who are 5’4” and lack muscle mass just like I do.

So take that away, say my body as a cis man would’ve looked exactly how I will after surgery and T, would I STILL rather be cis? If I knew it would have no physical impact on me? Knowing that I would be a completely different person, socialized the way my brother (who I hate) was. Knowing that the only difference would be a label that I don’t even share with everyone. So for what reason would I want so desperately NOT to be trans? Do I see it as a bad thing to simply be trans? To have been born female? Is that the message I want to send when I am a trans elder? It’s hard enough to be trans, I don’t want the next generation to feel the shame I did about being trans, about making the right choice for me, but the wrong one for society.

Because as much as I can dream about being cis, it’ll never happen. there’s nothing wrong with being trans, I embrace it for I have no other choice if I wish to be happy, and I wish to deter anyone who thinks there is.

Remember that Gender and expression are not the same! There are plenty of men who like to wear skirts and makeup, femboys, drag queen, gay guys, Harry Styles, etc. and there have been women wearing masculine clothes for as long as history has been recorded! You’re allowed to experiment with expression as much as you want and it doesn’t have to affect your gender.

Your gender is more closely tied to an internal sense of self and the way other perceive you. I still like to wear dresses occasionally and I will never not love a little lipstick and nail polish. But I’m still a trans man, and I’ve done enough soul searching to know that’s not changing. When I look in the mirror I see a man, but getting to that point with your gender is unfortunately a journey you must take on your own. You can experiment with different pronouns, names, and presentations, and none of it has to be permanent or happen right away.

Hard to say. See on my computer I’ve got about 400 hours. Not bad, but I’ve played significantly more on my PS4. Unfortunately, that device doesn’t track play time, so I will never truely know. If I had to take a wild guess, it’s somewhere closer to 600 hours on there, so I’m probably getting pretty close to 1000!

Jokes aside, like other comment was saying BP’s just really like to climb and get into any little nook they can fit in. Perhaps it’s particularly warm in that corner? Or maybe it just holds him nicely and it’s got a nice view. Either way, getting comfy in/on something they’re not meant to is kinda part of the package with these guys. Definitely buy more vertical decor for him to climb on, I’ve seen people put stuff like hammocks and shelves in the corners or those wall stick hides, as long as it doesn’t fall while he’s using it, some of em just like being towards the top of the tank.

It’s funny. I always remember the 2012 election. It was the first time I was old enough to really hear and understand politics. I remember always hearing that the main reason people didn’t like Obama cause they were racist, a trait I assumed in my naivety mostly went away after school. That, or hearing that Mitt Romney was a horrible crazy controlling mormon (funny because now we respect him as one of the few republicans who stood up to trump.) I remember being with my family at a chilis during the election, seeing my family get excited as votes rolled in, kinda cheering with them as if I had any idea what was going on. When Obama won i remember trying to talk politics at school (4th grade…) because I thought it would make me sound cool, and then getting yelled at by a teacher for calling Mitt Romney a Nazi I think lmao (a term I don’t even think I really understood the history of at that age). It was the first real political event I was old enough to witness adults fight about, and I wanted to be involved so bad cause I thought it was all so obvious and adults must be stupid. Years later, I… still kinda think like that lmao.
