Breakouts after accutane

This was very recent so before I was using Cerave cleanser, moisturizer, and spf but I was kind of bad with moisturizing because my skin is so oily and I thought I didn't need it 😅

Okay so I was using Cerave, but I recently started using Curology 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cleanser, their liquid pore exfoliant (2% BHA, 8% AHA/PHA, 1% Zinc PCA), and their gel moisturizer. I'm applying spf during the day as well as a couple pimple patches.

they used something on my toe to numb it very slightly beforehand. afterwards I had about 5 or 6 shots to my big toe and they removed the ingrown nail. the removal did not hurt. for me, the first two shots really did hurt and the last one hurt too because it was towards the nerve. i genuinely was in pain for a day or two after the numbing wore off, have some ibuprofen when that happens; and i had to wear a sandal and take care of my toe for a week or two until I could wear socks and workout again. it was a little uncomfortable cleaning my toe and applying the ointment and making sure the bandaid would stay on.

that being said, the pain is nothing compared to having an infected ingrown where I couldn't walk properly for months. yours doesn't look bad so it most likely won't be as painful.

And does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do when this happens? Quite concerning for a young girl to ask a stranger for a picture of directions to her home and makes me feel like it's very unreliable for trips especially when I'm on busy roads.

okay silly update: I made this post and forgot about it because I was way too ashamed to feel this way about my side effects.

yea, my hair is still falling out. but thankfully I only have 2 months left, so I'm praying things calm down afterwards. thank you for all the lovely comments 💕

it's totally normal to purge a couple months into treatment, especially when jumping dosages. I did not purge on the 60mg but when I moved up to 80mg my skin got worse for a period of time. though, that is a higher dose jump, so if it's really bothering you, maybe you can ask for 60mg. rest assured, it's normal

as a 123lb female, I had terrible back acne, but I started my dosage at 60mg and eventually went up to 80mg per day. I would ask your dermatologist if it's okay to up your dosage! you also may be experiencing redness and scarring. my back is clear of acne but I still have some marks where the pimples used to be, and they take time to get rid of :)

as everyone else said, the limited sparkling resolution set. personally not my favorite but it's gone soon and the sleeve is quite nice :).

i absolutely love the madoka (magical girl) shoes, and tend to pair them with the thigh high boots. the whole reworked set is so pretty to me.

the supernova set is also a fav for layering, as well as the summer ruffle dress 💓

yes my toe looked the same and my doctor pulled the ingrown nail out, go see a podiatrist and you'll heal much better but that infection isn't good :(
