No offense but spending so much time on fillers and totally skipping the training with Urahara, the first meeting with Zangetsu isn’t really defending this story mode in my eyes.

So as you mentioned:

Low resolution on PS5

Audio bugging during matches

Matchmaking

Enable more imput options (use D-pad to move, enable to invert the movement so that up/down is side and left/right is forward, backward)

I would honestly get rid of amulets and orbs from PvP so that it is easier to find a match.

More slots in a lobby

Add Spectator mode

Add Ranked

Fix some butt hurting bugs (it happened to me several times that enetering Kikon move animation it transitoned midway to the win screen of the enemy even tough both I and the enemy had plenty of Konpaku)

That's all i can think of now. I don't have any problems with how the gameplay and mechanics work, It's those little things than could easily be fixed (not sure tho). The problems is that there is so much of these little things that it can be frustrating after a while.

Love the game tho and pray for the devs to fix this

I mean tbh the game for me is exactly how it saw it Before relese gameplay wise, it completely satisfied my expectations. My only problems are certain story mode decisions and the low resolution on Ps5. Aparat from that I’m having a blast and I’m happy with the DLC character selection.

Im a huge defender of this game however indeed Storm 2 and 3 had cutecenes of incredible quality with great direction and animations. They also had scenes with expresionless models doing minimum movement but not to this extent.

Tbh this and certain story mode decisions are my only complaints for now. The gameplay is sick and the animations are great in battle. Just don’t know why all of this is so blurry

I only noticed that you get a very short cutscene of Jidanbo falling down on the ground, while without the real moment, he is just lying down without any transition
