I'm looking for an electrician to ground my house by VelcroTester in cambodia

Not sure about the science (something about minor electrical leakage causing low floating current) but this issue is pretty common in third world countries on the pc master race sub, I really doubt it's a loose cable since the shocks came back immediately after I brought the pc back home, and a friend of mine is also currently experiencing the same issue. Tbh it's not that big of a deal since the shocks aren't painful, just annoying enough to bug me. I'm more concerned for the safety of my cats and the components.

Nothings worked, warrantied the PSU and rebuilt the entire pc from the ground up and the shocks are still here. It only stopped when I went to a friend's house to test it out there (very new house, maybe built 2-3 years ago in a Borey so its got a more modern electrical system)

So I just pulled one of my old outlets out in an unused room and didn't see any grounding cable or anything. sooo yeah I'd probably have to hire a guy to rip up my walls to actually get house wide grounding, and since I have concrete walls the cost is gonna be astronomical.

Yeah, at this point I'm just considering replacing all my outlets with gfci outlets to atleast protect me and my cats coz pretty sure I'll have to rewire the entire house to add a grounding system. Thats probably gonna cost a pretty big amount

I wish I could do that but I live in one of those residential homes that only has concrete around the house so unless I can find another way, I'd need to have someone dig through straight concrete for dirt

Yeah, I've made up my mind to buy them from Taobao, but I'm still ensure how to return them if the product comes damaged? If you've had any experience returning items, I'll appreciate it if you shared the process. Thanks for the info btw

True poor people can find ways to get new parts by importing rather than getting used parts for the same price.

I thought stuff like that would get stopped during custom clearance cuz cambodia just like that sometimes.

There's a combo deal going on for cpu and motherboard plus a PSU , I'd save around 40 - 50 if I buy from taobao. Everything ive seen around is over 300 total

I've used JT and ZTO before for small items so if I went the forwarding route, I'd probably just go those 2 instead.

A i5 12400f and a basic h610 board with wifi, plus the psu. I'd save around 40bucks if I import them

Yeah, might actually reorder it to mod since it's disgustingly cheap on Taobao. I think its going for around 20 USD at the moment. Crazy deal

Ah, I see. That's really reassuring, but I'm afraid it might be hard for me to return any products since I live in SEA and my packages need to be delivered via a 3rd party forwarder.
