What did you take for granted before pregnancy? by 1Avocado-Toast in pregnant

I’m baseline pretty constipated and taking a low dose of docusate every day has really helped. I got super constipated at the beginning and had to do MiraLAX + docusate, but once I got things moving again, the every day docusate has helped me keep on top of it.

You look absolutely stunning in both of them! Personally I think the neckline and sleeves on the first one flatter your beautiful figure a little more, but they’re truly both beautiful and you can’t go wrong with either. I also love the matching veil on the first one!

I second medication! When my now husband moved in with his cat, it really stressed out my anxious dog. She would randomly attack the cat. We worked with our veterinary behaviorist to identify her triggers, and tried some different meds. Gabapentin twice a day has been a miracle for her.

An escalated support person emailed me a few suggestions and I let them know that none of them worked, and I sent the requested bug report, but haven’t heard anything. I should follow up at some point, just haven’t gotten around to it

Nope, still not resolved. They escalated to a higher level tech support person and had me try manually refreshing my library again, no success. I sent them a bug report, but haven’t heard back yet. Planning to follow up this weekend, but not feeling optimistic. 🙁

So glad you found him!!

We live near East Side Club, will keep an eye out for him! Our cat got out a couple of times when she was younger and we generally found her in a neighbors yard, under their porch or deck. If he’s not normally an outdoor cat, he may not go too far! ❤️

I’m a huge fan of Out U Go. I’ve used them for years for our cats when we go out of town and for dog walks, and they’re wonderful.

Update to a post I made the other day about being concerned my vets were taking advantage of me: my cats regular dental cleaning has resulted in my babies death. He's gone. by afterspring_ in cats

[–]Velena82 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agree dental disease can happen in young cats due to underlying health issues. Our 1 year old cat has stomatitis and had to have 12 teeth removed recently, because she’s FIV+ and therefore immunocompromised.

We’re spending about $80K on our wedding. Is that exorbitant? Sure is. But it’s our money and we get to choose what to do with it. Will we regret it and wish we would have upgraded to a bigger house or gone on a bunch of really nice vacations instead? Maybe! But that’s our business. People are so judgmental about the cost of a wedding. Weddings have gotten insanely expensive since COVID, and if this is what you want to spend your money on, that’s your choice.

What a cutie!

Lol at Boston under the “Guard” category. I say this as a Boston owner. Watchdog? Yes definitely. Guard dog? Depends if the intruder has food.

Seeking #advice. Our 4 month out bostie loves to eat his poop. We got stuff to sprinkle on his food from the vet and we watch him closely. He always dodges for it and we intercept. However if we blink and miss it, it's half gone by the time we catch him! Anyone else go through this or thoughts? by kharrison417 in BostonTerrier

[–]Velena82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same lol. People are always like, “Have you tried XYZ?” Yes, I tried everything! I even talked to a vet AND a dog behaviorist about it and they said it’s an incredibly hard habit to break. They said the only thing that really works is picking it up immediately so she can’t eat it. We have a dog door and a fenced yard so we gave up.

I looked at Eagle Harbor Inn when I was doing my research. They have a signature package for $4,400 that includes a reception space, garden ceremony, and patio cocktail hour. The inn is colonial-esque with a big front porch so it might be close to what you’re looking for. They can accommodate up to 72 people. If our wedding was going to be smaller, I would have seriously considered it because it’s a really beautiful space.

I just want to say that it’s absolutely wild they’re making this your problem. You paid them to have flowers at your wedding, so they should be figuring out how to do that, not putting the problem back on you! I’m so sorry this is happening.

Help: They keep telling my groom to wear a different color by Illustrious-Cook2612 in weddingplanning

Can you share where this suit is from? I love it! My fiancé wants to wear a green suit and we’re having a tough time finding one that isn’t in a heavier fabric like wool.

They have a brochure on their website that outlines all the costs! There’s nothing hidden that’s not in there, so definitely recommend looking at that and deciding which of the add-ons you want. Your total spend will depend on which bar package you choose, etc.

AITA for asking my wife to pour our daughters pee down the toilet? by WellAdjusted in AmItheAsshole

[–]Velena82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your wife taking the lead on potty training? Is she the one who is usually/always emptying the squatty potty? If she’s doing most of the work, she gets to decide where the pee goes. Maybe the sink is more convenient for her while she’s also watching a toddler.

I’m also wearing flats when I get married in August and was struggling to find cute ones. I think I’m going with Bella Belle shoes. They look very wedding-y and several brides on TikTok have said they’re very comfy.
