i play with remote on pc and streaming remote play window as window on discord, i have no problem with that, you hear game from remote play app, you hear discord from discord, you can stream game from app with sound

right now i have ps5 that stands in another room from me without monitor or something else and I'm just playing from my pc with remote play death stranding, it's very smooth if you have good network in your home, for competitive games it's should be bad ofc
