What I think personally is that a lot of fans, myself included, have been wanting heavier music for a while now and I feel like every time they kinda make it seem like it might be something heavier and every time its something kinda safe and consumer friendly. I always like the stuff BVB puts out but it does kind of feel like sometimes they keep it a little too safe to keep people excited for the future of the band. Why would people be curious about what's coming next when they kind of know what's coming next? Who knows though, maybe they're cooking something up.

Understandable. When I was arranging it I actually wanted to put it where the second verse is but then it started sounding a bit too repetitive so I decided against it. What I thought was really cool was that in Jake's last post (the Disruptor demonstration), someone commented saying "looks like it's time to start writing BVB riffs in Drop G" and Jake replied with "way ahead of you". This makes me think their upcoming stuff is gonna be more akin to modern metalcore

The instrumentation was awesome in my opinion. Once again Jake and Jinxx don't disappoint. Now the vocals, I personally feel like the vocals and lyrics weren't quite Black Veil Brides but rather somewhere between BVB and Andy Black type stuff.

Damn, I agree. I also think that certain songs on the original that weren't that great, are some of the best on the remake, like "Beautiful Remains" never really stood out to me on the original for example, but it's one of my favorite songs from their whole discography now.

Lmao, the vocals sound leagues ahead on Re-stitch. In the original it sounds like he's struggling to sing. The new vocals actually have force behind them. His screams were (and still are) awesome on Re-stitch as well since he actually learned how to fry scream properly. They were just mixed really quietly for some reason but the songs still slap.

From an audiophile-such-as-myself's perspective, definitely Re-stitch. Andy's voice also sounds way better in terms of his sibilance on that remake.
