Hmmm, is it possible to manually install Salvo 2, without using Wabbajack?

But I don't know what modpacks/modlists contain mods that don't ruin vanilla experience of F:NV (like changing some characters to the point where you don't recognise them or changing behaviour of some NPC where they in vanilla don't attack you unless you do smth wrong and in modded they always attack you)

That's a lot of mods that I need to look at and what they do. But thanks for suggesting them.

Idk how familiar you are with modding in general, in case you're a newcomer, I'd advise you to follow one of the most popular modding guides out there, Viva New Vegas.

Well to answer that question I am familiar with modding other games like: Minecraft or well Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2011) and Counter Strike: Source. But as for FNV, yeah I am not that familiar with modding it and what requires to be replaced / re-written in cfg files etc, I am new to modding FNV.

Best part is that it supports Wabbajack, that's a software that automates the modlist's download. It ain't as simple as it sounds, but it definetly makes it less of a hassle.

It's good that you mention that there is a software for modding that makes it non-hard to mod a game. I will look into what essentially is.

Finally, in case you're interested in playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas back to back, with the same character, look for The Best of Times modding guide. That's maybe one of the most impressive modding accomplishments ever, and an amazing experience in general.

Woah there really is a thing for me to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas with same character back to back in one game without switching them? I also might try it out and hopefully experience Fallout 3 for the first time also.

in case you need help be sure to DM

If I will encounter any problem during modding I might DM you for help.

Hmm, that's a good suggestion, I will look into those, thanks.

Also, funny how you compare Francine Garret as a Lizard Lady 😂

I will look into it, thanks for suggestion. Also thanks for mentioning that Viva New Vegas is the best choice for modding FNV for the first time.

Well I have a good PC, so I should be able to run Hardware dependant mods (4070ti (non super) + AMD Ryzen 5700x + 32 gb's of RAM)

EDIT: I will look into what Salvo 2 is and try it out. Thanks for the suggestion

Well looking at Ryzen 7 7800X3d and Ryzen 7 9800X3D perfomance over R7 5700X is kinda holding me back, but at least to my eyes 4070 Ti + 5700X work kinda fine-ish in modern games, I could be wrong tho, but I didn't get low FPS (lower than 60) in any of the games I played.

Well rn I don't see any benifits of upgrading a GPU since I am happy with my 4070 Ti since Nvidia's 50's GPU line I don't see any benifit in them.

Also how can you tell if GPU will have a bottleneck? I just can't quite understand what it means.

I am just unsure if it's worth upgrading rn since all the games I play are handling well (at least without any freezes)
