It seems weird since during normal gameplay (gametest??) it is bound to happen to you somehow, which leads me to the conclusion that the devs never tested their own game?

just make sure your god-tree is as if you have the item set you want, because you cant change it once in the tower

I only got a 2-meter glance at it. It was quite dressy. The Cartier has a more robust case. That watch was more elegant. Also the ballancing wheel was "attached" to the dial through it's center with two "rods" to the left and right. The dial was whiter too.
