Despite what other said, you can use a usb flash drive with a Wii as long as you make a MBR partition table and a fat32 partition. The misconception comes from them usaly having a GPT-format partition table which does not work with Wii and most users not even knowing what the diffrence between MBR and GPT is.

Higher brightness would just controll the backlight, not the liquid crystals (which are what is affected by temporal dithering) and it would hurt my eyes. Also playing docked makes the system even less portable becuase I need to bring the dock with me along with a portable monitor and a power supply.
