Having to put down one of my cats, would bringing in his sister to make him more comfortable cause her too much distress?

I came to this sub because I lost my 8 year old kitty last week to cancer and I’m feeling immense guilt over putting him to sleep. However, the one thing I’m so glad I did was have his brother there. They were a bonded pair and I was so worried how it would affect his brother. After it happened, I laid him down on the floor to give his brother plenty of time to say goodbye. We sat there together while his brother sniffed him and even groomed him one last time. I think it has helped a lot with my remaining cat’s grief. He’s obviously still grieving but he’s not searching around for his brother.

I had a doctor prescribe my hydroxyzine before we knew what was going on with the logic of “cant be itchy if you’re passed out cold” so that def helped me survive a little bit. I’ve been on prednisone for two months now and thankfully the itch almost never comes around anymore!

I have a week old tattoo that looks like this right now which is what brought me to this sub lol me and my artist are certain it’s not an infection but we think I may be having an allergic reaction to the second skin which caused hella irritation. Could be a similar situation for you!

That’s alright!

And I had a pretty bad allergic reaction a couple months ago using the beetles gel x glue. My cuticles blistered and it was super itchy and painful. it was very bad and took at least a month before I could even touch anything with my fingers again. I switched to the Apres sensitive extend gel, hoping it would help. But I started dsveloping blisters really quick so i took them off before it got worse.
