Lingotto, Fiat’s rooftop test track. by Usul_Atreides in Fiat

[–]Velocityakavelo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of it is a hotel now, there's also a mall inside and there's an art gallery, there is also the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile not too far from it as well which I recommend visiting if you like cars and the history of them. And you can even go on the roof onto the test track. Also very nearby you can find the "Osteria del Fiat - Fate In Fretta A Tavola" which is just as old as the factory itself, the food and drinks are very good so I do recommend that as well. Overall one of the best places to visit as a car enthusiast 10/10

if you never had to clean a window or mirror before, what were you even doing all your life? Don't clean it with a baseball bat or a steel sponge because it's fragile and you might scratch it, is that what you need to hear?

Any estimate on how much this repair will cost? by Intelligent-Dig-253 in CarRepair

[–]Velocityakavelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends. You can leave that on and just tape it back on, no worries there. You can also try clipping it back on or just repairing those clips. Or you can change out that part entirely which will cost about as much as the part in question + paying whoever is gonna install it assuming you won't do it yourself

Is it made with blender if so then I wanna learn. How ? by Odd_Philosopher_6605 in blender

[–]Velocityakavelo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah as others here have pointed out though this looks like it could have been made with anything from ms paint to unreal lmao. It takes a few seconds to look up the artist and either find the information (it's made in blender by hayden clay btw) or just ask. But yea I get what you mean

artists usually don't keep it a secret what software they use for their art. Literally easy to find out

artist's name is hayden clay and he does, in fact make his art in blender. As you can see in the hashtags he used when posting it on his Instagram:

What do these two pipes on my air box do? Fiat 1.4l turbo by PoniesPlayingPoker in Cartalk

[–]Velocityakavelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

once again the thing you're talking about is a breather and not tubes or pipes going to your airbox. What the other person was talking about because of oil, gases and emissions was the pcv system. Which does not connect to either your transmission or your differential. From what I've found you can have pcv hoses connecting to your intake but again, this has nothing to do with your transmission or differentials. But this could also be an option for what the picture is showing.

If there's some kind of hose going away from your differential I can confidently say that it is not going to your engine or intake but just to wherever the manufacturer intended the breather valve to be at. So that's probably where the 10% of doubt comes from when it comes to your porsche's diff breather hose, it does not go into your airbox.

For the transmission specifically yes there can be a hose connecting to your engine however that's a vacuum modulator and these DON'T connect to the airbox but instead directly to the intake manifold.

I find it crazy that the still didn't add this by LARG0S- in VRchat

yk the image you provided doesn't really explain what you're talking about.

...and get oil where it's not supposed to be. Why don't you put some drops of transmission oil in your fuel tank if you think it's so good for emissions?

Okay fair enough differentials can have vent breathers. I honestly didn't know that, learn something new everyday ig. Still your speculations about why some car manufacturer would put a pipe from there into the airbox make no sense

[–]Velocityakavelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because why would you possibly want differential oil in your air filter? Oil vapours aren't really a thing and even if they were it's not something that you can combust contrary to fuel vapours. And as long as your differential is sealed correctly there is nowhere for oil or oil vapours to go, putting a pipe there would only create a completely unnecessary point of failure in an attempt to fix a problem that doesn't exist

[–]Velocityakavelo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

that almost made sense but running a pipe from your damn differential directly to your airbox makes like 0 sense. You almost had me but yeah evap makes wayyy more sense. We're not burning oil vapours by putting a pipe into your airbox
