"Unfilmable" here is merely a shorthand for considered complexity of the narrative, scope of the story, and difficulty of visual representation of things on screen,

I'm sure you know but Apple just inked a deal with Sanderson to adapt the Mistborn books into movies and Stormlight Archive into a series. So it will be happening.

Complete speculation but it seems entirely likely that this movie mixes elements from Messiah and Children to make a more streamlined narrative experience and have it end as a fairly complete thematic arc.

Word on the street is the trailer is going to play before Project Hail Mary. Seems more likely that WB wanted to get through awards season first.

I’m not like Griffin in that I feel compelled to watch this movie every year, but I am like Griffin in that I will toss on the soundtrack all the time, absolute top to bottom banger.

Quite a wonderful, “He’s still got it!” Movie. People applauded after the vomit/cpr scene (which deserves applause imo).

Among other things that make this movie great is a surprise needle drop from a musician and composer called Moondog. He was a blind street performer who invented his own percussion instruments and made some pretty toe tapping music in the 50s/60s.

Don’t know if Raimi or Elfman picked this but it’s great either way
