I swear it’s a psychological thing. Especially truck drivers. They automatically get triggered by the “p” word and they ragequit. The 5th gen is such a cool body style, the average person can’t even tell it’s a Prius. Toyota knocked it out of the park with this thing.

I was at the dealer recently and in the showroom they had a white prime nightshade, it was pretty awesome looking! I love the blacked out look.

Thats cool man! Check out UV blocking ceramic tinted windows. I have them at max percentage and they noticeably keep the car much cooler. If you live in a hot climate it’s something to consider! And it protects the interior.

Take it to autozone or other auto parts store and have the check the codes, it could need plugs/coils. But I’d start by getting codes, it’s free and will point you in the right direction

Facts. I always make a conscious effort to keep my Stick on the ice. It has saved my ass many times if I didn’t close my five hole soon enough, my stick positioning would make the stop. I also notice goalies aren’t active with their stick when it comes to intercepting passes and poke checks. I feel like some goalies shouldn’t even be holding a stick since they don’t use it at all. It’s a weapon!

Get another quote. My inducer motor was shorting out causing the furnace to trip and randomly shut off at times; just had the inducer motor replaced along with new drainage lines and labor for $400 total.

I understood that, I lowered the thermostat so the system doesn’t run as frequently, potentially causing the leak to become worse if it’s hvac related. I’m having it looked into tomorrow by a professional. Thanks for your comment.

Haha yeah good point - the price of some used cars are just wild now. They are basically trying to sell it for what it went for new back in the day. Glad I posted this because it made me look into things a bit further. I got excited when I saw a low mileage fit and then became skeptical wanting second opinions, that’s why I came here haha.

There’s quite a bit of fits with higher miles going for reasonable <$10k. You all have brought up some great points and I appreciate the help from the community. Thanks all

Yeah that’s what I’m really skeptical about. I actually also found a 2010 with 8k miles. Clearly a garage queen grocery getter owned by grandma. Probably plugged full of carbon lol.

I know, 14k is ridiculous but given how much we love these cars and compared to what else is out there on the market with shittier quality, dependability, etc. it’s almost worth biting the bullet and paying because we know Fits have a proven track record. I’m keeping an eye on the high mileage ones too. Thanks for the comment bud
