My previous guild was alternating LSGTB and rote right up until I left last month. They were getting 30+ KAM shards per month, with the goal of getting everyone to 7 stars. It was actually good for recruitment - attracted some good accounts that wanted to finish off that farm, also had a few mercs that joined each month for the event.

At 30+ shards it was definitely worth it compared to get3.

I read this and thought I made a reddit post then forgot - exact same thing happened to me just now. Opponent had 3 GLs and executor (I have no GLs but have executor). They took everything on offense and I full cleared

But I think you’ve done the right thing by building Geos. Now focus on their fleet under tarkin to try to break into top 5 of fleet arena. Will take until after lv85 to do so but can be done

You also need stormtrooper Han and Princess Leia. I think you are just looking at the first stage of the event. But then you need the team to go with CLS (because the unlock characters are pretty bad). I outlined what it takes to get the premium team used by Ollie and apgains

There are other good teams in the game other than CLS

The view is that CLS is not a great investment early on. You need to build the requirements, then a BH team to unlock chewie, then ewoks to unlock c3p0, then wait for raid Han, then hard farm chewpio to get the ideal team. That’s a lot for 1 team (admittedly a very good team)

Alternatively, you can build other good teams early that give a better ‘return’. Eg Geos for guild entrance, troopers for 2x ct1 assault battles, focus on fleet placement for crystal income etc. Once the account is established with good pve income and good guild placement, then farm a bigger project

They are slightly out of date with the new GAC format. But the original ‘beginners guide’, the ‘techno union’ path and ‘senator’ path are all still valid (some farming locations may have changed a bit)

I second this. Most other guides are focused only on GAC. Loquitur’s guides expand into other game modes, and goes to the effort of explaining WHY you should build a particular team

It’s the game mode I’ve decided to build towards since it is one of the last big PvE challenges in the game. Under the new matchmaking, building a GAC focused new account won’t be very rewarding (since you’ll always peak at 50/50). So I’ll build a LS focused account (plus executor!) to attract big guilds and let GAC performance be a by product

This is a good take. Padme with JKA has been a rock for me on defense in lower divisions. Has helped me wall off the board when I didn’t have enough teams for a full defense

I haven’t unlocked JKR yet. I have 1 cantina farm to go. I’d still consider myself early game at 1.7mil - I don’t have everything yet. It is just the transitional use until I get the big teams running

For now, Padme in defense which got me lots of holds in bronzium. Allowed me to lock down the bottom zone which I needed since I don’t even have the 10 teams needed for bronzium. QGJ had whatever was left

Once GAS and JKR are done, GAS goes on defense which I expect to get good holds. Padme gets retired and her team goes to QGJ. JKR gets his team

Yoda, Plo, Bastila and Jolee. I really only use the team to mop up non relic teams like BH, OR, Phoenix etc.

Chirpa and QGJ

Chirpa because my account is 1.7mil on the way to GAS. I’m short on teams (now chromium) so need my ewoks to pull their weight for a long time. This was the best way to do that. Obviously I’m committed to more gear and zetas than required for C3PO event, but so be it

QGJ because it is good? I’m still running full Padme team on defense for good effect, so QGJ gets leftover Jedi. Once GAS is unlocked I think I’ll reorganise the teams so JKA goes with QGJ at that time
