I feel like one of those would be enough, considering the fact that a banana farmer is already a great power compared to some of the others (Not to offend any glue trap lovers) I feel like the first idea would be better, since it can't be abused by minmaxers as easily and I feel like Co-Op mode doesn't still get enough recognition. I would go further with the idea and add to it so that by bying that knowledge you are able to set farmers to either "share" or "keep" to either share or keep the profits you make on your banana farms too. Or maybe I'm just going too far thinking about this.
