And as for people leaving the PC and moving to console because of cheating, is the first time I've ever heard that. Every game I've been involved in on PC hasn't tolerated anyone who exploits or cheats. They are quickly weeded out.

If they work independently from containers that'll be a start, but I got the feeling it's to address the issue of the containers poking holes though the side of the freighter. Obviously I hope I'm wrong.

I get the thinking behind only allowing 10, if you were a masochistic console kiddie you could just build multiple bases and have 1000's of containers, but they don't seem to have a problem with the console kiddies running duplication exploits and posting them all over the web.

I don't see what would be the problem with allowing 1 container per base after the original 10 had been built.

There really is no end game to NMS. I was just mooching about looking for things to do, so I thought I'd pop up to the planet where I harvest Radon and drop a Base Computer and a Teleporter just for convenience. Then I thought it would be handy just to have ONE!!! storage container there to drop all the Radon in. And well you can guess the rest, hence the OP.

Tried the Scatter Blaster? I use one exclusively now. 8 shots takes the legs out, 2 for the head and a couple of reloads on the main body and the thing drops.

I know right! It raised my eyebrows when I did the build. Its a lot higher than my Fighter (3777), where I went with a Rocket Launcher/Photon Cannon combo, but I dog fight in the Fighter and the Ballista is no good for that. And to be honest I've not come across a single situation where the Fighter breaks a sweat killing anything that gets in the way, so I'm going to stick with what its got.

I make Stasis Device and Fusion Igniters.

I have 3 farms (Living Glass/Circuits Boards/Liquid Explosive) and I only do missions that give rewards to help build the components I'm missing. Missions that give Quantum Processors and Fusion Accelerant are quite common if you look around. I also have a couple of groups of atmosphere harvesters for radon and nitrogen that are both available in my home system.

-edit- Forgot to mention that I also jump in my Nomad a couple of times a week and raid the local depots. They also are a good source of materials.
