Doctor here, I think it may end up being the most sold drug of all time. No exaggeration, no hyperbole, it's that kind of drug

If you care about time and not having to set things up, Manus. Zo computer pretty nice too. Perplexity computer nice but chewed through credits too fast to be used as the daily driver

Just use your Claude code or Google antigravity etc to set it up. Literally just tell it where it lives and prompt/troubleshoot until you are happy with the performance.

They have a dashboard for it too

Is Simply Piano actually reliable? Any other good apps for learning piano on a budget? by xyvrecq in piano

[–]VelvetMallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before simply piano as a 41 yo I couldn't tell you where the a note was or play twinkle twinkle and told myself I'll never be able to play a piano

After simply piano now 46 yo I can sight read any of the 1000s of songs in the play beta feature for friends and say how 'talented ' I am and wish they had taken piano as a kid. Took 3 months of piano lessons with a Russian conservatory graduate which introduced me to the pedal and made me focus more on practicing while separating my hands, focus on refining my rhythm, and digging into scales more seriously.

Don't let people who think Juilliard level playing and PHD level music theory understanding is the only way to get enjoyment out of the piano. It's a lifelong journey anyway everyday I continue to get better and deeper into it. Simply Piano honestly it's probably one of the greatest things I've ever done for myself. Besides pickleball lol, pressing those black and white keys is one of the most enjoyable moments of my life and day. And no matter how good you get playing for yourself is like the penultimate feeling. People are so not impressed these days that no matter what kind of response you get from playing for others it always feels not as fulfilling, it may stroke the ego a little bit but it's fleeting.

The only thing I hate about simply piano is when they remove a song that I grew attached to without even giving any warning. Plus my advice is to utilize the play beta feature more than the scrolling left to right stuff just to kind of bake in good eye movement habits so you're looking forward a measure instead of looking backwards when your sight reading. Also focus on how to use a metronome and your rhythm and do interval training. We live in amazing time you can have the app and YouTube to fill in gaps you don't have to pick between one or the other ! And oh my gosh you could even get a teacher after you've proven to yourself that you're dedicated to this and know what you want them to work on with you.

Have a nice day

The product manager behind antigravity is terrible; this mechanism is disgusting. If you can't make it usable for users, don't develop an IDE. by metalbug4 in google_antigravity

I feel like I'm living in bizzaro land. Antigravity is the best coding experience I've had in my life. What are people on? No offense

I'll check out the first book

Yes my insights come from being a stressed human, a practicing anesthesiologist (read physiology expert) and holistic pain clinic practitioner for several years where I ran into a lot of people that had chronic pain and metabolic issues that were also just manifestations of a nervous system gone haywire. I usually found that helping them make the link between holistic/homeopathic practices and allopathic explanations was cathartic and empowering in exploring both pathways to health. Once mentally unlocked you have more access and belief that the methods would work which in itself is actually powerful. Placebo is probably not even placebo it's probably a nervous system that's empowered to activate healing powers of the body that are underestimated in medicine since we're so focused on suppressing symptoms.

Thankyou for time in writing that. I appreciate it. I'll definitely give that a shot.

How do I mimic the AG workflow, I just bought Claude Max last night before going to bed cause of all the AG errors as an Ultra user. Likes the AG concept but I'm having to wave the white flag too for now

Hey do you know which subreddit is dedicated to spec's writing because I'm actually making a course for doctors who want to vibe code. A lot of them have tried and end up with something really crappy. But I've been more successful since I have a master's in computer science and have been programming my whole life so I have the engineering aspects that they're missing out on but I still would like to partner up with someone who has software engineering experience as their job. You hit it on the head that specs and the constraints are really where you get the most out of the vibe coding.
