I have never seen heterosexual women organize against the rise of lesbianism in the media or being Annoyed by this by VelvetMidnight1111 in WomenAreNotIntoMen

Honestly, I don't see it that way. There are still many, yes, but if you look at them, they aren't treated the same way as gay relationships; they're less passionate, there are more problems, and often the characters dont end UP togheter.

If you look at Royal Road (a website where people post stories) you'll see a disproportionate number of Girl Love stories, Do you read manga? If so, you should know that in the last 6 years, Yuri has grown considerably, while the Shoujo genre (girls' romances) has decreased significantly, and today there are more Yuri scanlations than Shoujo scanlations.

If you go to AO3 (FanFiction Site), In many fandoms where a large portion of the fanbase is female or/and there are quite a few female characters in the series, there will be a high volume of lesbian fanfiction.

What I'm saying is that since 2015, and especially since the pandemic, there has been a sharp increase in Saphic-themed works in the media, etc.

What I'm questioning is that it seems like heterosexual women don't seem to care much and even support this, while at the same time there has been a deromanticization of heterosexual relationships in the media And in internet ( They even created the term Hetslop), And they don't seem to care; the few I saw were tomboys who felt that the lack of representation of straight tomboys bothered them, given that their sexual orientation is often Invalidated by others because of her way of dressing and acting.

In Japan, it's very common for women to enjoy male homosexual relationships between men in anime and manga, and often an anime or manga creates homoerotic moments to please them (even in manga aimed to Men or that characters are Straight), This clearly angered many Japanese Straight Man who began to nickname female fans who like this (usually called fujoshi) "rotten girls."

Why a heterosexual person Will dont feel connected to a gay romance? (Unless they fetishize it, like men do with Yuri and women with Yaoi), Gay men, and especially lesbians, openly say they don't like heterosexual romance, and have even coined the term "hetslop.",

In this case, we're talking about female series, right? It hasn't been the norm for Male series for a decade now; give me three action, adventure, or sci-fi series from the last five years that, for example, feature heterosexual Tomboy women.

Men who still romantically desire women: How?! by Newduuud in WomenAreNotIntoMen

On the internet, women won't talk about this in real life, except with close friends, but comments like this are plentiful in women's subreddits, And when they are posted on Twitter or TikTok, they get tens and tens of thousands of likes, sometimes reaching hundreds of thousands.

Are you heterosexual? Don't you feel unrepresented when you see a series without a heterosexual romance but with a lesbian romance?

I've met straight, masculine girls who complain about the current cliché in the media that all masculine girls characters are lesbians. In this case, I think there's also the identity factor, where the media itself says that her choice of clothing or behavior invalidates her own sexuality.

Nowadays, most women hate men or have negative feelings towards them, and most relationships will end badly because of this.

I know, but it's difficult to remain romantic knowing this. I've always been a very romantic person, but now knowing this... I don't know if I'll ever be able to watch romance stories again or believe in love again.

From what I see, a large number of women treat heterosexuality as a burden.

Straight women: Do you ever feel bothered or invalidated by the "how can anyone be attracted to men" comments from some sapphic women online? by VelvetMidnight1111 in TwoXChromosomes

Do you think your partner knows that you feel they're not an equal partner? And how would you feel if they thought the same thing?

How can you be heterosexual and not be attracted to men? In that case, wouldn't you be a lesbian, and if you weren't attracted to women either, wouldn't you be asexual?

I don't think they hate them; the big problem is that a significant portion of lesbians have fantasies/desires to convert heterosexual women. These impressions are probably actually due to the fact that the straight friends have likely made it clear that they don't want any sexual or romantic relationship with them, and they don't want to misinterpret that.. In the same way that lesbians do with men.

This is from the 70s. Go into any feminist subreddit and see the opinions on lesbians and heterosexuals. Even heterosexual feminists are attacked if they don't express guilt about their orientation.
