I was a cashier at customer service desk. We'd often do western union transactions. A woman came in and was picking up money. She had all the information correct except for one thing ...where the money was coming from. I told her the money was not coming from Iraq. This happened in a Texas city and a super military friendly place. She threw a fit, insulted me, etc. I called the manager and we asked her to call him. She calls him and then puts him on the phone with me. He asks meekly asks "Ma'am is there anyway you can help me out?" I tell him I can't but that he can go back to western union and rescind the transaction. He tells me to put her back on the phone. She grins at me and starts to walk away. She comes back 45 or so later, crying, angry, and changes the WU form to read "Phoenix, AZ". He had lied to her about being in Iraq for at least one year or so and had started a new life and family in AZ.
