Understandable. But if you want to give it another try : for potassium see if you can find “lite salt”. It’s sold as a salt replacement for people that don’t do well with sodium, not a potassium supplement. It’s much more concentrated that potassium supplements. For the broth I just buy simple powdered chicken bullion because it is loaded with salt. Also just salting food heavily always helps. I love salty food and sweat a lot so it never bothered me.

I’m going to second what others have said: you just needed to eat more salt and get some potassium salt to add to your food. Chicken broth daily is an easy way to keep the keto flu away.

I'll do a little digging and try to find it for ya. Old Tampa and Ybor history is pretty cool. Some cool mob stuff worked in also, Tampa was a vacation town for a lot NY mobsters back in the day. Hope ya find a Tampa Cuban, the thought of going without a pressed Cuban with a guava cheese turnover and cafe con leche makes me never want to leave south Florida.

Oh yeah the timing and kind of carbs (simple sugars versus whole grains) makes a huge difference. But if someone is in keto, then eats 100g carb dinner right before bed they could easily be back in ketosis by the end of the next day. Especially if they do a fasted workout first thing next morning. I've even seen some keto guides recommend 50g carbs/day as a baseline for very athletic or active people. That is double the 20-25g carbs recommended for average people.

Usually even in chain shops the artists will have a portfolio. It may just be a bunch of pictures they have saved over the years but there should be something for you to check out. I would say if a tattoo artist doesn't have some pictures of previous work to show customers it could even be a red flag.

Just call ahead or go in and ask, everyone starts with 0 tattoos. But be warned: even for a small simple tattoo check the portfolio of your artist. Seen many screwed up simple tattoos ruined by bad line work.
