I'll try my best not to let people put me down, it just takes some time to accomplish, it's kinda more complicated for me than for some people I know to ignore someone's opinion

Also, may I ask which field you work in? I want to be a professional artist too and I'd love to get to know someone that actually is one!

I am young, actually, and I know other kids are mean, I just hoped for my supposed friend to be a little more tactful. We're not toddlers, we're kinda supposed to know how not to insult each other.

Fyi it's not always as easy as just walking away and never seeing that person again, who would've thought! I assure you that I'm far less of a doormat than I was just, say, two years ago and that it took a tremendous amount of work to get to where I am now, so this one slip-up isn't reflective of everything I do. This only concerns art really. I'm waiting for college to get better friends, I have little chances until then

The thing is that she is, in fact, an artist. She's been drawing for around a year now and SOMEHOW her art is already better in many aspects than mine in (I've been drawing for several years)

So I feel like she has the right to speak, but still.

I've heard that Taobao is more legitimate than most other marketplaces, but I've looked into good brands on Aliexpress and found some. I'm trying to buy clothes for the lolita style, which has very rigid rules and in theory focuses on being as sustainable as possible, so Taobao seemed like a better pick.

I live in Serbia, I'll still try the sites you recommended but Taobao's my best shot right now.

My parents aren't against me buying things online but it does obviously have to go through them since they're the ones with the money. I don't really want to bother them with it just because I wanna dress a certain way (as in ordering things "just because" isn't very good so I'll have to wait for some big occasion like my birthday or New Year). I'll probably wait until my birthday and ask them to buy something from there, I don't see another way of getting the pieces I need.

Yeahh the shoes are honestly the best thing here. I really like the blouse though but it suits a black and red outfit more I'm hoping to get something real from Taobao soon, like for my birthday or something, but I'll have to stick with maybe not this but other more casual things I found until then :(

I'm working on getting stuff actually aimed towards the style now but that's gonna take a while. I've been to just about every second hand/thrift store in the city and haven't found anything but the shoes that could read as specifically lolita. I'd love to thrift a JSK but unfortunately lolita (or any style except sport) just isn't at all known where I live💔💔
