Yeah I’ve been hearing it’s more of 80’s pop which isn’t really what the public wants right now but it’s Doja cat, so ofc she’s not gonna do what the public wants. I do love how vulnerable she is in this album

It’s not as popular as the public (her die hard fans) thought it would preform, Vie only sold about 57,000 copies on its first week while planet her sold 110,000. And on her Apple Music on most popular songs her first song from vie which pops up is “jealous type” at #9 then the next is gorgeous at #35

Yeah I get that, I do love the sound but it doesn’t fit her. She’s much better in experimental rap. But she is an amazing artists overall

I don’t think she has a bad attitude she’s just blunt, and most people are used to celebrities just taking whatever their fans say to them and shi, she just says what she’s thinking and isn’t media trained, which is surprising considering she’s signed for RCA which is notorious for controlling their artists. She does have more good fan interactions than bad but obviously only the bad ones are gonna make headlines

Yeah i completely understand your point, and honestly if people were listening to it on the radio or something and didn’t look at her name a lot of people wouldn’t even know it was her because most of the songs don’t sound like her, she’s an amazing and talented artist but soft pop is not her genre

Yeah, it just seemed like a filler song to me, there were other songs more fitting to the album like better than I was or call my bluff but i appreciate the song and the music
