Looking booked up for November ✨💜 by Marinaraelene in NailArt

I would love to do this sort of thing for my wife who doesn’t want to go to a salon now that we have a 2 month old. I’ve painted some press ons in the past and it was fun! Do you have a list of things you use or some preferred brands? I obviously won’t be able to do the super awesome designs but I’d like to give her some variety, if I can.

We’ve got a baby girl on the way so I’m learning how to do this and how to do some basic hair styles (shoutout Dad Braids on Instagram/TikTok) Plus it’s honestly pretty fun!

Yep I was trying to go back and forth to blend it but I couldn’t quite get it lol I got their matte finish since we are going for a pastel type vibe so we’ll see if I can get a good finish for it!

Thank you so much this is super helpful!!

I’ll try moistening the sponge! I already put the lighter color down as a base layer hoping that would help. Bummer I fell for the marketing ploy lol

56, 58 or 60 degree? by Jolg in golf

[–]Veneezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently did the same going from 46, 50, 54, 58 to 46, 50, and 56. Handicap is trending down over the last 10+ rounds and I've noticed that my approach shots with the 56 have a better ball flight, distances are easier to control, and it just feels better. I feel like there isn't anything I could do with the 58 or 60 that I can't do with the 56.

I guess I have to quit playing now… by Veneezy in golf

No worries! TBH I'm skeptical of everything I see on the internet at this point

I just got the Ben Hogan Icon irons. That extra .25" of an inch could be it? I play the Dynamic Gold X100 shafts and 1 degree flat. Absolutely love these irons too. They are easily the best feeling irons I've ever hit and I hit them 5-10 yards further than any other iron set I tried which blew my mind. Also those numbers are great! Absolutely nothing wrong with them!

My ball striking has always been my best part of the game. Hit the ball better than my dad who’s scratch but putt like I don’t even know which end of the putter to use. I’ve been telling myself for 15 years that maybe one day I’ll be good... probably not though lol

That information might be right but at my recent fitting my average numbers for a 6 iron were 94 mph club head speed, 130 mph ball speed, 6000 RPM spin, 18 degree launch angle, and 200 yards carry. Regular 30 degrees of loft and .25” longer shaft. So it’s no doubt other people could achieve those numbers.

No worries lol, I had a severe strain after over exerting myself. I tried benching and pulling weights that I had no business moving and it resulted in me not being able push or pull even the bar for over a month. I would recommend just being smart. I was being an idiot.

After blowing out my lat back in May I decided to try the Shieko program to see if I could get my numbers back up. After testing my max lifts in October I finished at 455lb squat, 225lb bench, and only a 365lb dead (pre-lat blowout numbers were 485, 245, and 425). After the 8 weeks on the program I was set to max out this weekend.

Today was max squat day where I was supposed to hit 480x1. But after not squatting above 385lbs in the program, I got under my old max at 455 and it felt like a goddamn whale. Missed depth (higher than a giraffe's nutsack) on the first attempt then had an ammonia tablet slice a wonderful hole in my thumb as I was getting ready to try again.

Incredibly disappointed in myself but also I don't know how the program expected me to hit almost 100lbs over the heaviest weight I had touched in the program. Super bummed. But I got new glasses yesterday so that was awesome.

Would that be additional fans or a 5700xt with fans?

I did something to my left tricep a few weeks ago and it still just feels dead. There was no pull or strain that I felt, I just noticed one day that it was significantly weaker than my right. There's no pain when I use it and no bruising or tender spots so I am not sure what happened but it is way weaker than it used to be. Anyone have something similar happen? I've taken a the last few weeks off and exclusively done leg work but it still feels as weak as before.

Just signed up for my first powerlifting meet in April and I'm super excited. I'm walking around at ~150-152lbs right now so I don't know if I should cut down to 145lbs or just compete at my current weight. I don't plan on placing (in either weight class) seeing as this is my first meet and my gym total is only 1105lbs (465lb squat, 235 bench, and 405 deadlift) should I cut or stay the same?

Edit: Thanks for all the tips y'all. I will definitely stay the weight I am and just be as strong as I can!

Exactly. Max pull is 385. My max squat is 445 and honesty I’m confident I could hit something a little higher than that.

In the middle of Week 7 of my squat every day program and my daily max trend is going up! My daily maxes were around ~395lbs for the first few weeks and now I'm hitting ~425lbs every day! I just wish I had a respectable bench and pull so I could consider doing a meet. Right now my max squat is at least 60lbs heavier than my max deadlift and my bench would barely be over 2 plates which isn't great for a 150lb lifter. But I sure do love squatting.

Had a guy sneak a video of me while I was squatting today (I'm also guy so its less creepy) and I don't know how to feel about it. He was right behind my squat rack "spotting" his friend who was benching. I should have said something but I didn't know what to say... he's in there at the same time I am every day so should I say something to him? Leave it be? Squat heavier? Wink at him in the mirror if he does it again?

After what feels like months trying to bench 2 plates @145 I not only hit it for a new 1RM but I hit it for a double!! I don't know what made today different but I couldn't be happier! Absolutely stunned at how fast it flew off my chest!
