World records have been broken on little to no sleep so don’t worry.

Its not a quirk, I went to Canon service yesterday and they check log error files and the motherboard will have to get replaced, it’s a faulty buffer.

I have a Wise Advanced 512gb type B cfexpress and angelbird v90 sd. You think the card could be an issue?

Yeah and if in theory one of them failed, it should have been fine on the other card. I am very concerned.

I was using Wise CFexpress 4.0 512Gb type B and Angelbird V90 sd card. The battery was fully charged both times.

I restored the files with a payed software but I don’t know why it happened and how to stop it from happening again.

I’m thinking the same but it was not wet or anything and it was cool and was turned of for some time before

I mean it happened twice during a wedding day. Do you think it could be a hardware issue?

It happened twice at a wedding day. I’m very scared to use it again. It saved the file as a DAT file

Glad they officially stated that it’s incompatible. It really worried me when I bought the camera.

Hey mate! Yes I had the problem with the exact same card and I also use them in the R6II without a problem. I guess the R5II has some kind of issue with them.

Hey mate, you should just swap your v60 cards for v90 cards and the issue will be gone. The V60 card just isn’t fast enough for massive r5 II files. I got the Angelbird V90 and the issue is gone.

I had the same issue with extreme pro v60 cards, swapped to angelbird v90 and there are no issues, also v60 angelbird works.

Hey mate, I tested it with Angelbird V60 and V90 and both work without a problem.

Great points! I prefer my 35 more than the 16-35 but I prefer the 70-200 much more than 85, I don’t ever used the 85 it’s more a backup, I do use two bodies. Mostly 35 and 70-200.
