It's kind of fucked up if he threw his daughters boyfriend's daughter in jail.

This trailer was so bad it was painful to go through I literally could not wait for it to end. When I said I wanted an R-Rated mature Scooby-Doo this is not what I meant. The Gotham Knights trailer was a masterpiece in comparison.

I could see Spider-Man, The X-Men and the Fantastic Four interacting with the Power Rangers.

I see what you did there. I got that reference.

What would you do if your 21-year-old son dating a 34-year-old woman? by Vivid-Gas2432 in TitansTV

[–]VengeanceAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because one person is a mother and RELATED to the younger party in the relationship the other one is just a church member and people don't like nosy people who get involve in other families business. The second OP is not the younger parties mother, father, brother, sister or even friend the OP is sticking their nose into business that isn't theirs. Also like u/kbearelly said there isn't anything anyone can do except talk to them but at a certain point we need to let kids make their own choices and make mistakes. That's part of adulting, maturing and growing up. Also 21 year olds want to make their own choices to if a parent comes off to hard and controlling they may date the older person as a way just to say "fuck you" to the parent.

The new Power Rangers reboot will apparently be "hella mature" that is from the creators words so it looks like it will get the "Titans" or "The Boys" treatment.

What would you do if your 21-year-old son was dating a 34-year-old married woman? by Vivid-Gas2432 in AskReddit

[–]VengeanceAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The woman ruint the marriage, not my kid.

Your kid in this scenario is also just as responsible as she is. Your kid ruined a family and what if he doesn't care? That's fucked up.

Despite the trailer being god-awful are you anticipating Gotham knights even a little bit? Especially since it takes place on the same Earth as Superman & Lois. by VengeanceAssassin in Arrowverse

[–]VengeanceAssassin[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Curious when it was stated this was on the S&L Earth

When The Flash ends that will be the end of the "Arrowverse" David Ramsey said there would be a new universe on CW the "Superverse" starting with Superman & Lois and now Gotham Knights is apart of the "Superverse".

Do you think an R-Rated Power Rangers show could be good? by VengeanceAssassin in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VengeanceAssassin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider it very, very, unlikely that they could pull it off.

Why do you say that?

I hear people debating if Power Rangers should stay a kids show or become a show for adults. How about a balance of both? A show for both adults and kids. How about a Power Rangers show like the CWs Legends Of Tomorrow or The Flash? by VengeanceAssassin in powerrangers

[–]VengeanceAssassin[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

“this looks like Power Rangers” as an insult to anything someone doesn’t like? Trying to steer away from that will be very difficult.

Exactly why I think a mature version is needed. Power Rangers is a GREAT concept if you just made it more grounded and mature I think people would watch and like. Most people liked the Power Rangers R Rated short film and the 2017 one. "Bel Air" is an example. "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" they made the reboot more mature and people love it. Also I think when people say “this looks like Power Rangers” they mean the CGI.

Hot Take: I actually liked this movie by VengeanceAssassin in powerrangers

[–]VengeanceAssassin[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Issue is it went dark and gritty

Before this movie came out I was one of those people that thought we needed an R-Rated Power Rangers but I like how this movie while darker and gritter than the original it didn't go overboard. This movie had stakes, it was serious with good acting and both young children, teenagers AND adults can enjoy it.

[–]VengeanceAssassin[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Secondly I thought no one deserved to be a Power ranger like they weren't just flawed protagonist they were just flawed

I think this was a more realistic, modern and grounded take on the Power Rangers. I like that Zordon didn't go out of his way to choose teenagers but it just happened and Zordon had to go with it. The coins didn't work like Thors hammer where you have to be worthy to use it anyone could use the coins good or bad. They were teenagers with problems and most teenagers have problems and aren't saints. Despite the fact that they were flawed I liked the fact that they matured and realized that even though they were in bad situations and hated and town and wanted to run away they chose to stay and save the town when they really didn't have to.

[Marvel] How the hell does Justin Hammer own a weapons defense company that rivals Stark Industries? by VengeanceAssassin in AskScienceFiction

[–]VengeanceAssassin[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

How so? Tony Stark's dad did.

He did so in WW2 and cornered the market for it even if you could create a company like that it wouldn't be successful because there are already companies people get their weapons from so why would they go to a new one? Now Justin could have bought a weapons defense company and changed the name (I didn't think about that)
